Working together to shape the unknown
The Future of Work Summit convenes policymakers, businesses, researchers, civil society and youth to inspire fresh thinking and collaboration. Join us for a day of critical reflections and proactive solutions towards shaping a future where technology empowers and migration enriches the world of work.
The interconnected and fast-moving geopolitical and technological challenges facing organizations and workers around the globe call for a concerted effort – but instead meet with institutional silos in thinking and decision-making. The impact of these divides is even more profound in times of heightened and multifaceted uncertainty.
The Future of Work Summit 2024 engaged with the challenge of building trust for collaborative policy building and a renewed social contract - with a focus on two crucial unknowns at the forefront of domestic and international discourse: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Migration, in recognition of World Refugee Day.
Unprecedented levels of global movement and displacement of people, coupled with fundamental shifts in work and productivity caused by new technologies were raising fears of increased hardship and inequality. Participants joined us for a day of critical reflections and proactive solutions towards shaping a future where technology empowers and migration enriches the world of work.
The interactive discussions built collective intelligence, applied practical tools, and demonstrated how a shift in mindsets could breakdown silos, strengthen policy responses, and inform collaborative action - hosted and facilitated by our TASC Platform Co-chairs:
Cédric Dupont, Professor of International Relations & Political Science, Geneva Graduate Institute,
Gudela Grote, Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology, ETH Zurich.
