Equipping policymakers and changemakers to manage uncertainty

Massive, simultaneous and interconnected transitions are affecting lives, shifting politics and heightening uncertainty at a global scale. In this context, policymakers are struggling to navigate disruption, keep pace with innovation, and fulfil their critical role as stewards of social wellbeing and development.

These dynamics risk deepening social inequalities, damaging public trust and leaving individuals, communities and countries less prepared for the significant changes ahead. There is an urgent need for a shift in policy approaches to uncertainty and transitions.

For human-centered transitions

We believe that dialogue and cooperation can and should strengthen in response to societal change. We work with policymakers and changemakers to ensure the governance of societal change remains human-centered: prioritizing and protecting human rights, skills, wellbeing, and agency, and enabling society to thrive through transitions.

Our Approach: The change exchange

Our unique approach equips policymakers with new momentum, mindsets and models to manage uncertainty and steer human-centred transitions.

Through an integrated cycle, diverse perspectives are brought into the conversation, collectively analyzed and reframed, and translated into actionable policy insights, tools and solutions.

Convene relevant policymakers, experts and under-represented voices to engage beyond comfort zones, surface insights and challenge assumptions on transitions.
Apply a multi-disciplinary toolkit - including collective intelligence, behavioral science, systems thinking and foresight - to explore new connections and reframe complex challenges.
Develop tools and guidance that enable policymakers to expand collective action with adaptive, human-centred responses to transitions.
